See the compliance work your business needs to keep track of
Your obligations depend on how your business is structured, where it operates and the registrations it holds. Legalway uses your business profile to organise relevant filings and due dates in a personalised compliance calendar.
Begin with your business details
The profile asks for your entity type, business activities, employee count, turnover range, primary state and tax registration details. These details help the platform identify the obligations relevant to your business.
Accurate information matters. Review your details carefully and check your obligations when your business circumstances change.
Review the date and the work behind it
The calendar shows each obligation's category, frequency and next due date. Search for a particular item or filter by category when you need to focus on one area.
Use Pending, In progress, Completed and Not applicable to keep a record of the work. The dashboard then gives you a view of what is still open.
Coverage across common business obligations
| Category | What the calendar helps you track |
|---|---|
| GST | Relevant periodic and annual GST returns |
| TDS and TCS | Relevant tax deduction obligations, remittance and returns |
| Income Tax | Advance tax, income tax returns and tax audit obligations |
| PF and EPF | Provident fund contributions and related filings |
| ESIC | Employee State Insurance contributions and relevant obligations |
| Professional Tax | Applicable state requirements for deduction and remittance |
| ROC and MCA | Relevant company and LLP filings |
| Labour Laws | Supported registration and employment related obligations |
The items shown depend on your business profile and the platform's supported rules. The calendar helps you organise work; confirm applicability with your professional advisor where necessary.
Reminders before the deadline arrives
Paid plans send reminders 15, 3, 2 and 1 day before a due date, with a further notification on the due date. Notifications reach your registered email address and the bell icon inside the app.

Use an email address you check regularly and keep each obligation's status current. When a filing has been completed, record that in the calendar so your dashboard reflects the work already done.
Full calendar access and reminders are included in Early Subscriber and Pro. Free includes a blurred calendar preview.
See approved deadline extensions
When the government extends a supported deadline, the Legalway team checks the change against official sources before approving it for the platform. An Extended badge identifies the updated item in your calendar.
Keep your filing process with the people who handle it
You can file an obligation yourself or through your CA or other professional advisor. Legalway provides the calendar, reminders and status record around that work. Marking an item Completed records your update; it does not submit a return to a government portal.
